Quantity / Aspect Ratio of the Thumbnails on the Indexprint
Number of thumbnails:
For whole films (≥ 400 mm) the number of
thumbnails is automatically selected by the d-lab
in such a way that the complete film fits on the
indexprint: 15, 25 or 40 images.
For film strips and slides, there are only 25 (IX240)
or 40/42 (all other film sizes) images per
indexprint. The distribution to several indexprints
is done automatically.
An order may have a max. number of 42 images.
Therefore larger file print orders are split so the
customer receives more indexprints.
Aspect ratio:
The aspect ratio of the thumbnails of the
indexprint corresponds to the one of the image
source:

Image files
For file print and network order a single image is
reduced to such an extent that it fits in the
predefined window if the image data has a
different aspect ratio.
