Ready for Operation

User login

After switch-on and warm up the Login screen
comes up. In this screen the user name and the
password (4 numbers) must be entered. The user
name is preset already if the operator has been
st
defined as 1
user with password check. The
Start screen appears after the password and, if
required, the user name have been entered.
The Start screen appears immediately after the
st
warm-up if the 1
(password check deselected). It also appears after
a new user has logged in.

Start Screen

After a user has logged in, the menu bar with the 5
main menus is displayed:
− Print mode offers all functions for image
editing and printing (see Production, Register
6).
− Settings is used to create the print
configurations, enter machine-specific
parameters, define prices so that the orders
can be priced (see Settings, Register 4).
− Tests allows the testing of the d-lab prior to the
production start and during the production (see
Tests, Register 5). This menu also provides
access to the service functions (see Repair
folder).
− Pricing Orders can be priced and price labels
printed if the pricing option has been installed
(software and label printer).
Apart from this, statistics can be called up in
this menu (daily and total counter: Prints, index
prints, orders, scanned negatives, paper
consumption).
− End of work is used to shut down the machine
completely or partially (Sleep mode). The user
can also be changed in this menu.
