Tests
Calibration with external densitometer:
1. Print a PBL without laser point for the selected
paper.
2. Use the external densitometer and measure the
density on the last print in a density field of the
grayscale (e.g. field with D = 0.8) and note the
measured values. Do not take the field with the
highest density!
3. Determine the new calibration factor of a color
according to the following formula:
Cor_new = (D_nom / D_act) x Cor_current
with:
Cor_new:
new calibration factor
(to obtain a neutral
grayscale)
D_nom:
required density of the color
D_act:
measured density of the color
Cor_current: current calibration factor
4. Repeat the steps 1. through 3. until the
grayscale comes out neutral.
