Emptying the effluent tanks

As soon as one of the effluent tanks is full, a
message appears on the screen advising that
this tank must be emptied.
− It is possible to press Clear to suppress the
message and to continue the work for a while.
When the message appears for the third time, it
cannot be cleared any more with Clear.
− Empty the full tank:
− Open the front door of the Paper Processor.
Position
− Put a bucket under the respective drain tap
(see arrow).
− Open the tap and empty the tank. Close the
tap.
Do not open the drain cocks of the bottom row.
They are used to empty the processing tanks
CD, BL and SB1-3, e.g. when a completely new
tank preparation has to be filled in single or in all
tanks.

Maintenance Every 6 Months

Cartridge feeder: Clean the mechanism and the light barriers
− Remove the housing of the cartridge feeder.
− Clean the mechanical parts and light barriers
with compressed air spray.
− Make sure that dust and lint are not blown into
the film carrier area.
