dTFS (only for File print and Network order)

The aim is to compensate for the different
characteristics of digital cameras: Color and
density corrections are determined for the digital
images to correct color casts, analog to the TFS
for negative film.
Gray condition:
The gray condition does not apply:
100/100/100 must no longer result in a gray print!
In contrast to negatives the image files have an
absolute color allocation:
0/0/0
= black
100/100/100 = gray
255/255/255 = white
255/0/0
= extreme blue, etc.
dTFS can be activated or deactivated for file prints
per default under Settings / Machine settings /
Further settings: dTFS presetting, see Further
settings in Register 4.
This presetting can be changed during the
processing of file print orders.
Deactivate dTFS
(the respective information should be recorded at
order input)
– for manipulated, artificially modified digital
exposures
– for images created with graphic programs
– for images with "real" white areas,
e.g. business cards
– in images saved on a d-lab with Autosave
