Changing the Paper Magazine
Caution!
Always wait 30 seconds after the last print
procedure before removing the magazine to
allow for paper rewinding into the magazine.
The LED in front of the magazine indicates if the
magazine may be removed:
– Green
yes
– Red
no
Removing the paper magazine:
– Push the locking lever to the side.
– Pull out the paper magazine.
Mounting the paper magazine:
– The Printer door must be closed.
– Put the paper magazine on the guide rails and
push it in until it locks audibly.
Confirm the prompt for paper cut.
– In order to avoid paper transport problems due
to an incorrectly cut paper tip, the prompt
should be confirmed in the following cases:
1. When a new paper roll was inserted.
2. When a paper jam occurred.
If the cut is confirmed, the machine cuts the paper
tip, turns it through 180° (only LH magazine) and
transports it to the print engine.
Whenever a magazine is inserted, the machine
checks the paper length: For this, the paper
moves to the cutter and back. The middle Printer
door must remain closed during this procedure as
otherwise the paper will be fogged.
Do not use two paper magazines with the same
code at the same time in the machine!
