XEROX 4213 LASER PRINTER USER GUIDE
Note: Below each description of the emulation submenu item is
an example of the message display with the factory default for
the item written in boldface type followed by an asterisk.
options for each menu item are listed in parentheses following
the example of the message display.
disabled is the factory default for 2-sided print mode:
2-SIDED
DISABLED* (DISABLED, LONG BINDING, or SHORT
BINDING)
An asterisk does not appear for numeric entries, such as the
COPIES, FONT NUMBER, or FORM LENGTH.

Number of Copies

The Number of Copies menu item selects the number of copies
of each page printed.
printed, use this menu to select the number of copies required.
This would normally be a temporary change, not saved to
memory.
Note: The printer does not collate the copies.
The Number of Copies menu item options are listed below as
they appear on the message display:
COPIES 01 (01 to 99)
Note:
Most application software automatically sends a reset
printer command before the start of each job.
printer clears the memory of the printer and makes sure that the
number of copies is set to the previously saved default, usually
one.
Tray Sequence
The Tray Sequence menu item allows you to switch automatically
to another tray when the active tray is empty.
Sequence menu item selects the order in which trays are used as
the paper source. For example:
Single tray selection: Paper is fed from one tray only.
Two-tray sequence selection: Paper is fed from the first tray.
When the first tray is empty, paper is fed from the second
tray. Paper is fed from the second tray only until the first tray
is refilled or replaced, then it feeds again from the first tray.
