This option requires a minimum of 4 MB (or two 2 MB SIMM
boards) of additional memory.
If your printer does not have the required extra memory, call
your sales representative.
Note: The PDL kit complete supplies 6 MB as standard.
If you do not wish to install the PDL board or coprocessor
yourself, call for service and for a nominal charge, a local service
representative will be sent to perform the installation for you.
If you choose to do the installation yourself, refer to the
following instructions.
Perform the following steps before beginning the PDL board
installation procedures. (Refer to figure A4-2.)
