Light images on envelopes in low humidity conditions

not

extremes (that is, outside the range of 35 to 55% relative
humidity) or temperature extremes (below 10

In high humidity conditions, store envelopes, paper, and

labels in a sealed plastic bag.
Always allow paper media to acclimatise to the same
•
environment
as
the
temperature difference between the paper storage area and
the printer location.
Do not load media above the MAX lines on the adjustable
•
side guide.
Envelopes should not exceed the higher MAX
line. All other media should not exceed the lower MAX line.
Keep envelope addresses within the area described in
•
chapter 4 of the User Guide, "Printing with the 4213".
Before purchasing large quantities of special paper media, do
•
a trial run with that media to evaluate print quality and paper
handling performance.
If skewing of the media persists, make sure the MMF
•
mounting bracket is tightly secured to the printer and that
the MMF is securely mounted onto the pins of the bracket.
If you experience print quality problems when using special
•
media such as labels, card stock or envelopes, run a job from
a fixed tray, using standard 20 lb. (80 gsm) paper before you
call Xerox Service.
