Loading paper

Follow the instructions below to load the MMF with paper.
1. Move the adjustable guide toward the rear of the machine
and raise the weighted arm.
2. First fan the paper stack then gently tap the stack on a firm
surface to align the edges of the sheets.
3. Load the paper short edge into the MMF. Paper should be
loaded curl side down. This is opposite the way paper is
loaded in the paper trays.

4. Slide the adjustable guide against the stack of paper and
place the weighted arm on top of the paper stack.
Do not load paper above the lower MAX line on the adjustable
guide of the MMF.
Notes: Approximately 6 seconds after loading, the bottom
sheet will prefeed to a ready to feed state.
