B 7. Press the Test button to display the available tray sequence
mode options. The display reads:
TRAY SEQ MODE
TRAY 1*
Note: If the current emulation is LJ2D, TRAY 1-2* is the default
tray sequence.
C 8. Press the Last Page button until the tray sequence you want
to use for the HCF is displayed in the message display.
Possible choices are:
HCF
•
HCF-TRAY 1
•
HCF-TRAY 2
•
HCF-TRAY 1-2.
•
D 9. Press the Select button to select the tray sequence you wish
to use. An asterisk appears next to your selection.
Note: To set a tray sequence for another emulation:
A Press the Menu button to return to the emulation

menu heading. The display reads:
EMULATION
XES*/(other available emulation)
C Press the Last Page button to display a new emulation

heading.
Follow steps 5 to 9 above to select the tray sequence

to be associated with this emulation.
H 10. Press the Online button to put the printer back online. (The
green online indicator light is lit.)
