Print cartridge replacement procedures

XEROX 4213 LASER PRINTER USER GUIDE
When the print cartridge is nearing the end of its service life, the
warning indicator light is lit and the following message is
displayed when the Consumables Menu is accessed:
REORDER
CARTRIDGE-A 0901
You can make up to 2000 more prints after you receive this
message.
Note: Keep a spare print cartridge in stock so you are prepared
when the present print cartridge reaches the end of its service
life and needs replacement.
Note:
Downloaded fonts are lost when the 4213 is turned off,
so cartridge replacements should be planned with this in mind.
Table 5-12 lists the cartridge replacement message which appears
in the message display and shows the location of the print
cartridge in the printer.

When the fault indicator light is lit and the message is displayed,
the following tasks must be completed every time you change
the print cartridge:
Clean the corotron wire and saw groove.
Replace the print cartridge.
Replace the fuser wick.
Instructions for corotron cleaning, print cartridge replacement,
and fusser wick replacement are in this section.
Note: The packaging box which contains the new print cartridge
also contains a new fuser wick and the corotron cleaning kit.
Remove all these items from the package.
Caution:
Do not remove the outer silver wrapping from the
print cartridge until instructed to do so.
