XEROX 4213 LASER PRINTER USER GUIDE
Generate New Line on receipt of EM:
This menu option determines what the printer does when it
receives an End Of Message command. If this option is enabled,
the print position is moved to print position 1 of the next line.
(This is providing the current print position is not already at
position 1.)
If this option is disabled, the print position remains
unchanged.
NL ON EM
DISABLED* (ENABLED or DISABLED)
Case:
This menu option selects mono or dual case as the power up
default.
Dual case produces upper and lower case characters.
Mono case converts all characters to upper case.
CASE
DUAL* (DUAL or MONO)
Note: This option is not available when 4045 model 20 printer
emulation is selected.
Language
This menu option lets you use the control panel to select the
default language of the printed output provided the XES
emulation is set up for ISO6937 data encoding.
LANGUAGE
MULTINATIONAL* (MULTINATIONAL, ITALIAN, JAPANESE
LATIN, SPANISH, SPANISH SPEAK, PORTUGUESE, OCR,
DANISH NORWEGN, US ENGLISH, UK ENGLISH, GERMAN
AUSTRIAN, BELGIAN, BRAZILIAN, FRENCH CANADIAN,
FINNISH SWEDISH, or FRENCH)
Note: Refer to Xerox Coax/Twinax (XCTO) Reference Manual for
details of these character sets.
Special Features
This menu option lets you select the level of Special Features you
wish the XCTO to support.
SPECIAL FEATURES
DISABLED* (DISABLED, STM XEROX, STM RANK XEROX, or
FULL FEATURES)
Note: STM means Special Transparent Mode. Refer to the Xerox
Coax/Twinax (XCTO) Reference Manual for information on
Special Features.
