Installing the Software

Before installing driver software, verify that the printer is plugged in, powered on, connected correctly, and has a
valid IP address. The IP address usually appears in the upper, right corner of the control panel. If you cannot find

1. Insert the Software and Documentation disc into the appropriate drive on your computer. If the installer does
not start automatically, navigate to the drive, and double-click the S S e e t t u u p p . . e e x x e e installer file.
2. Select your printer model.
3. Click I I n n s s t t a a l l l l D D r r i i v v e e r r s s .
4. Select I I n n s s t t a a l l l l P P r r i i n n t t D D r r i i v v e e r r .
5. At the License Agreement, click I I A A g g r r e e e e .
6. From the list of discovered printers, select your printer.
Note: When installing drivers for a network printer, if your printer does not appear in the list, click the I I P P
A A d d d d r r e e s s s s o o r r D D N N S S N N a a m m e e button. In the IP Address or DNS Name field, type the IP address of your printer,
then click S S e e a a r r c c h h to locate and select your printer. If you do not know the IP address of the printer, refer to

8. If needed, you can name your printer by typing a name in the Q Q u u e e u u e e N N a a m m e e field.
9. Select a Print Driver.
10. Click I I n n s s t t a a l l l l .
11. If needed, set the printer as the default printer.

12. To complete the installation, click F F i i n n i i s s h h , then click C C l l o o s s e e .
