TACACS+ Server Summary

Use the TACACS+ Server Summary page to view and configure information about the TACACS+ Server(s).
To access the page, click Security > TACACS+ > Server Summary in the navigation menu.

Add TACACS+ Server dialog box – When you click Add, this dialog box appears, allowing you to add a TACACS+ server by configuring
the preceding fields, as well as the additional field below:

Use the buttons to perform the following tasks:
• To add a TACACS+ server to the list of servers the TACACS+ client can contact, click Add (this button is
disabled if the maximum number of servers has already been added). Configure the fields shown in the
table below and click Submit to apply the changes.
• To edit a configured TACACS+ server from the list, select the entry and click Edit. Configure the settings as
needed and click Submit to apply the changes.
• To remove a configured TACACS+ server from the list, select the entry to delete and click Remove. You
must confirm the action before the entry is deleted.
• Click Refresh to refresh the page with the most current data from the switch.
To retain the changes across the switch's next power cycle, click System > Configuration Storage > Save.

TACACS+ Server Summary Fields
Description
Specifies the TACACS+ Server IP address or Hostname.
Specifies the order in which the TACACS+ servers are used.
Specifies the authentication port.
The amount of time that passes before the connection between the device and the TACACS+ server
times out.
Specifies the authentication and encryption key for TACACS+ communications between the device
and the TACACS+ server. The key must match the encryption used on the TACACS+ server.
