RADIUS Accounting Server Status

The RADIUS Accounting Server Status page shows summary information about the accounting servers
configured on the system.

Use the buttons to perform the following tasks:
• To add a RADIUS accounting server to the list of servers the RADIUS client can contact, click Add, and click
Submit to apply the changes.
• To change the settings for a configured RADIUS accounting server, select the entry to modify, click Edit,
configure the settings as needed (you cannot edit the IP Address/Host Name), and click Submit to apply
the changes.
• To remove a configured RADIUS accounting server from the list, select the entry to delete and click
Remove. You must confirm the action before the entry is deleted.
• Click Refresh to refresh the page with the most current data from the switch.
To retain the changes across the switch's next power cycle, click System > Configuration Storage > Save.

RADIUS Accounting Server Status Fields
Description
The IP address or host name of the RADIUS accounting server. Host names must be resolvable by DNS
and are composed of a series of labels separated by dots.
The name of the RADIUS accounting server. RADIUS servers that are configured with the same name
are members of the same named RADIUS server group. RADIUS accounting servers in the same group
serve as backups for each other.
The UDP port on the RADIUS accounting server to which the local RADIUS client sends request
packets.
Indicates whether the shared secret for this server has been configured.
The shared secret text string used for authenticating and encrypting all RADIUS communications
between the RADIUS client on the device and the RADIUS accounting server. The secret specified in
this field must match the shared secret configured on the RADIUS accounting server.
