12.3.19.2 NTP Association

Network Time
The interaction between the access point and an NTP server constitutes an association. NTP associations can be either
peer associations (the access point synchronizes to another system or allows another system to synchronize to it), or a
server associations (only the access point synchronizes to the NTP resource, not the other way around).
To view the access point's NTP association statistics:
1. Select the

screen displays the following:
Displays the round-trip delay (in seconds) for broadcasts between the NTP
server and the access point.
Displays the time difference between the peer NTP server and the access
point's clock.
Displays the calculated offset between the access point and the NTP server.
The access point adjusts its clock to match the server's time value. The offset
gravitates towards zero overtime, but never completely reduces its offset to
zero.
