5.3.9.1 Advanced Profile Client Load Balancing


Advanced Profile Configuration
Use the screen to administer the client load across an access point's radios. AP-7131 models can have from 1-3 radios
depending on the SKU. AP-6532, AP-7161 and AP-8132 models have 2 radios, while AP-6511 and AP-6521 models have a
single radio.
1. Select Client Load Balancing from the expanded Advanced menu.

2. Use the drop-down menu to define a Band Steering Strategy. Options include Prefer-5ghz, Prefer-2.4 ghz, and
Distribute-by-ratio. The default value is Prefer-5ghz.
