Select the access point model to specify which model should be available
to upgrade. Upgrades can only be made to the same access point model. For
example, an AP-8132 firmware image cannot be used to upgrade an
AP-7131 model access point. For that reason, the drop-down menu will only
display the model deployed.
Enter a URL pointing to the location of the image file.
Select Advanced to list additional options for the image file location
including protocol, host and path. Additional options display based on the
selected protocol.
Select the protocol to retrieve the image files. Available options include:
tftp - Select this option to specify a file location using Trivial File Transfer
Protocol. A port and IP address or hostname are required. A path is optional.
ftp - Select this option to specify a file location using File Transfer Protocol.
A port, IP address or hostname, username and password are required. A
path is optional.
sftp - Select this option to specify a file location using Secure File Transfer
Protocol. A port, IP address or hostname, username and password are
required. A path is optional.
http - Select this option to specify a file location using Hypertext Transfer
Protocol. A hostname or IP address is required. Port and path are optional.
