12-15 delete ipif

Description
This command is used to delete an IP interface.
Format
delete ipif [<ipif_name 12> {ipv6address <ipv6networkaddr>} | all]
Parameters
ipif - Specify the name of the IP interface.
<ipif_name 12> - Enter the IP interface name used here. This name can be up to 12
characters long.
ipv6address – (Optional) Specify the IPv6 network address. The address should specify a host
address and length of network prefix. There can be multiple V6 addresses defined on an
interface.
<ipv6networkaddr> - Enter the IPv6 address used here.
all – Specify that all the IP interfaces will be used.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To delete an IP interface:
DGS-3120-24TC:admin#delete ipif newone
Command: delete ipif newone
Success.
DGS-3120-24TC:admin#

12-16 enable ipif

Description
This command is used to enable the IP interface.
Format
enable ipif [<ipif_name 12> | all]
