configure bgp AS-number <number>
Description
Changes the local AS number used by BGP.
Syntax Description
number Specifies a local AS number. The range is 1 to 65535.
Default
N/A.
Usage Guidelines
BGP must be disabled before the AS number can be changed.
Example
The following command changes the local AS number used by BGP:
configure bgp AS-number 65001
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
This command required an Advanced Core license in ExtremeWare XOS 11.1.
Platform Availability
This command is available on platforms with a Core or an Advanced Core license.
