through an Integrated Digital Services Network Pri-
mary Rate Interface (ISDN-PRI) trunk, Accune t
switched digital service, Megacom , Megacom 800 ,
Software Defined Network ( SDN ), Multiquest, and
Shared Access for Switch Services (SASS).
A method of transmitting a short bitstream of digital
data, such as printable characters represented by a
7- or 8- bit ASCII code. Each string of data bits is pre-
ceded by a start bit and followed by a stop bit, per-
mitting data to be transmitted at irregular intervals.
