The operands described above are used with the following options:
--activate ad_id

Supports node or port WWNs.
End-device members, whose WWNs are used in an Admin Domain
definition, need not be online when the Admin Domain is created
(similar to a
zoneCreate
Provides rights to zone the devices.
Provides administrative view rights to the switch port the device is
connected to: for example, portShow, nsShow, and so forth; does
not provide port control rights: for example, portDisable,
portEnable, and so forth.
Specifies the list of switches in an Admin Domain, in quotation marks. Separate
each entry in the switch list with a semicolon (;). Specify the switch in one of the
following formats:
Switch WWN
Domain ID
Note
Any switch member specified using Domain ID format will be converted into a
switch WWN based on the current fabric information. Operations with switch list
will fail if the domain ID to switch WWN lookup fails.
switch_list grants switch administrative operations such as switchDisable,
switchEnable, reboot, firmwareDownload, and so forth. Ownership of a switch
implicitly provides port control capability on all its ports, but no zoning control.
Specifies a list of commands to execute in the Admin Domain context. This
operand is valid only with --exec.
Specifies an Admin Domain name or number. This operand is valid only with --
rename.
Specifies an Admin Domain name or number. This operand is valid only with --
rename.
Displays the implicit members of AD0. This operand is valid only with --show.
Specifies the display mode for information about the Admin Domain
configuration. This operand is valid only with --show and --validate. mode can
be:

Displays the Admin Domain configuration in the current transaction
buffer.

Displays the Admin Domain configuration stored in persistent memory
(defined configuration).

Displays the Admin Domain configuration currently enforced (effective
configuration).
Activates an Admin Domain. An Admin Domain enforces only if it is in an
activated state. AD0 is always in an activated state. By default, after the Admin
Domain is enabled, the devices specified in the Admin Domain are not able to see
each other until they are zoned together.
