Syntax

source—The source IP address.

The default IP address is the outgoing IP interface.

To define an out-of-band IP address, use the out-of-band IP address format: oob/ip-address.
Example
The following example specifies the source IP address:
Console(config)# tacacs-server source-ip 172.16.8.1

tacacs-server timeout

The tacacs-server timeout global configuration command sets the interval during which a router
waits for a server host to reply. To restore the default, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
tacacs-server timeout timeout
no tacacs-server timeout
• timeout—The timeout value in seconds. (Range: 1 - 30)
Default Configuration
The default value is 5 seconds.
