Syntax
sntp authentication-key number md5 value
no sntp authentication-key number
• number — Key number (Range: 1 - 4294967295)
• value — Key value (Range: 1-8 characters)

The following example defines the authentication key for SNTP.

sntp authenticate

The sntp authenticate global configuration command grants authentication for received Simple
Network Time Protocol (SNTP) traffic from servers. To disable the feature, use the no form of this
command.

no sntp authenticate
