Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)

Use the SMTP Details Screen (Figure 2-76.) to configure the SMTP function of the
8300 Endpoint. SMTP is used to forward notification of events to a user-definable
list of up to five recipients. The event notification is sent as an e-mail in the
following format:
From: sender@senderdomain.com
To: Event Receiver
Subject: Even Notification
IP Address: 192.168.60.157
System Up Time: 0 days, 01:20:02
System Name:
System Location:
System Contact:
Reporting the following event:
OOFS Threshold Exceeded, ifIndex 3, Count 5
