Using the Ethernet port, CSNET Manager can be connected directly to the Internet via a suitably configured DSL modem.
This makes possible to monitor the system from any computer with Internet access.
Assistance from an IT expert is required. Security should also be ensured by external means such as firewalls and anti-
virus software.

Proxy
A proxy is a network server which generally only allows access to WEB content.
It is configured in the new proxy adjustment window which has been added to the Local software configuration, as shown
later.

• Proxy uses NTLM1, Kerberos, Basic or Digest authentication. NTLM2 authentication is not permitted. Your network administrator
should provide you the information about authentication. The operation through a proxy is not guaranteed as the network configuration
and the anti virus software may hinder the correct communication between the client computer and the HC-A64ANET.
• The proxy and firewalls allow communication through port 8080.
