The system modules are designed for use within a control cabinet. If the STO function is used, the cabinet must be rated at
least IP54.

The EXM 510 has a protection rating of IP20 according to IEC/EN 60529.

The EXM 510 may be damaged if exposed to fluids.

3.7 Software

The software for the servo system comprises:
• The firmware of the ISD 511 that is already installed on the device.
• The firmware of the system modules that is already installed on the system modules (except EXM 510).
