Front Panel Menu Reference
Display shows: "Enter measured data"
Measure the current with the Keysight 3458A and enter the data. Press Select
when done.
Negative Current Limit Calibration
Step 1. Connect the Keysight 3458A, current shunt, and a power supply to the output (see
G). Connect plus to plus, minus to minus. Set the external power supply to 3V, 3A.
Step 2. Select the negative-current range. The value to select the range must be negative and the
maximum current of the range.

From the Calibration menu, select Current, Current Limit. Then select Start.
Step 3. Select the first current calibration point and enter the data. This value should be negative.

Display shows: "Enter P1 measured data" Calculate the shunt current (I=V/R)
and enter the data.
Press Select when done.
Step 4. Select the second current calibration point and enter the data. This value should be negative.

Calculate the shunt current (I=V/R) and enter the data. Press Select when done.
Press Next to finish calibration.
Enter a Calibration Date, Save, and Log Out

From the Calibration menu, select Date. Enter the date, then select Insert Date.
Then select Close.
From the Calibration menu, select Save. Select Save Calibration for all Outputs.
Then select Close.
From the Administrative Tools menu, select Administrator Login/Logout to log
out of the Admin menu.
