6.9.3 Replacing Reel Drive Motor

The reel drive motor does not require regular maintenance or servicing. If problems develop with the motor, it
should be removed and serviced at your MacDon Dealer.

Removing Drive Cover

1. Remove the reel drive cover (A) as follows:
a. For SINGLE REEL DRIVE, remove the four
bolts (B) that secure the cover (A) to the reel drive.
b. For DOUBLE REEL DRIVE, remove the six
bolts (B) that secure the upper cover (A) to the
reel drive and to the lower cover (C).
NOTE:
The lower cover (C) may also be removed by
taking off the three bolts (D).
