24. Tighten clamp (A) with modified channel lock pliers (B)
so that finger pressure will NOT move clamp.
IMPORTANT:
Over-tightening clamp may result in breakage.
25. Re-attach channels (C) to support (A) with screws (B)
and nuts. Torque screws to 32 lbf·ft (43 N·m).
26. Reinstall any fingers (D) that were removed with
screws (E). Refer to
207.

6.8.6 Reel Endshields

The reel endshields and supports do not require regular maintenance but should periodically be checked for damage
and loose or missing fasteners. Endshields or supports that are slightly dented or deformed may be repaired.
Severely damaged components should be replaced.
Reel endshields can be attached to either end of the reel.
