The CPU board in chassis 1 (slot 8) acts as the default CPU for the Music-On-Hold
In addition, the ATM-based system requires one common Time Division Multiplexing
Voice Processing PC and applications software for integrated Voice Processing (voice
mail, automated attendant, hunt group announcement and overflow, optional Fax-On-
Demand, SMDR storage, etc.).
CT Gateway/Transceiver for using System OAI applications on a network.
NOTE:
A CT Gateway is recommended for high-capacity systems, especially an ATM
system. CT Gateway version 3.0 or later is required for system version 8.0 or later.
Headsets (electret compatible) for phone stations and handset amplifiers for single-line
set stations.
Digital phone Personal Computer Data Port Modules (PCDPMs) for using Off-Hook
Voice Announce (OHVA) features and for installing a digital DSS/BLF Unit and/or an
optional Modem Data Port Module. If a DSS/BLF Unit is not installed, the module's
RS232 port (4800-bps) can be used to connect an SMDR/error message output device
or a personal computer for programming the system database.
Digital phone Modem Data Port Modules (MDPMs) for connecting modem-equipped
data devices or single-line sets.
Analog phone Data Port Modules for hooking up either modem-equipped data terminals
or loud ringing adapters and external signaling devices.
AgentSets used in place of a phone with an attached PCDPM. It has a jack for plugging
in an Inter-Tel handset or headset. It also has a serial connector (DB9) for attaching it to
a PC. Because the AgentSet does not have feature buttons, a dialing pad, or a speaker, it
must be connected to a PC that is equipped with an OAI product that emulates a phone.
