Performing a Reference Analysis

Performing a Reference Analysis
A reference analysis is used to verify that the instrument is operating properly and producing optimum
results. Use the Carbon reference material provided in the accessories kit to perform this analysis. The
results should match those shown on the label of the reference material bottle within the tolerance
level.
1.
Select File > Open > Sample Information and create the new sample file, for example,
CARBON1.SMP.
2.
Click the Replace All button and select a reference analysis file, for example: Carbon.smp.
3.
Click Open. Information from the reference analysis file populates fields in the new file.
4.
Click Save, then click Close.
