The Smart VacPrep Status window allows the monitoring of degas operations for a manual degas
operation.

Description
Cancels the current degas operation.
Click to check the outgassing rate of the samples on the selected port.
The following process occurs:
The current degassing step is suspended.

The vacuum valves are closed and the vacuum level on the selected
l
ports is monitored.
The Status window indicates that the degassing operation is being
l
checked and displays the outgassing rate as it becomes available.
During the degas check, the
Continue is clicked, the valves open and the degassing operation
resumes.
If the outgassing rate indicated that the sample has been freed of
contaminants (minimal pressure increases), click
next state of the degassing operation. For example, if degassing is
checked after the setpoint is attained,
