• Entered - select to manually enter the Po in the text box.
• Most recent measured - select to use the most recently measured
saturation pressure.
• Measure Po for each point (models 2390p and 2390t only) - select if
Po is to be measured for each point.
• Bath temperature - calculates Po using the entered bath temperature.
Select the method of analysis.
• Equilibrate - select if the analysis method is to be equilibrated and
enter the equilibration time in seconds between successive pressure
readings during equilibration. With this method, the analyzer increases
pressure in steps to the next specified level for data collection. It
maintains this pressure and monitors volumes (or quantities) adsorbed.
When the rate of adsorption (volume adsorbed) falls below 0.1%,
equilibration is assumed to have occurred. The instrument then
introduces the next adsorbate gas dose.
• Scan - applies to adsorption only. Select if the analysis method is to be
scanned and enter the minimum equilibration in minutes. This method
allows the adsorbate gas pressure to be raised continuously at a
constant rate based on the pressures to be achieved and the length of the
analysis.
