5.13.2 MESSAGE DISPLAY COMMAND
Function
Displays the message on the LCD.
Format
[ESC] XJ; aaa ------ aaa [LF] [NUL]
Term

Explanation
(1)
When the printer receives the Message Display Command, first it processes the already
received data (or completes the label issue if the Issue Command has been sent).
Then, it displays the message on the LCD, and finally it enters a pause state.
(2)
When the [PAUSE] key is pressed, the pause state is cleared and the LCD displays the
normal message. After the pause state is cleared, the printer resumes processing the
data received after the Message Display Command.
Notes
(1)
The number of characters to be displayed is 16. When the display data is less than 16
characters, the blanks are filled with spaces.
