knuckle bearings for excessive play or abnormal
noise.

Check the ball joint boots of the tie-rod
for
tears or
other damage.
Check
for
looseness
of the
tie-rod
ball
joints or
bear-
ings
by grabbing each
front
wheel side to side with
the wheels on the ground.

looseness
is noted, inspect the following.
