Shift the sub-transmission into neutral.
Remove the
following:
-
left
front mud guard (page
2·
8)
-
front fender (page 2-11
)
-
pivot
bolt,
O-ring
and washer
-
pinch bolt and gearshift arm
from
the spindle
-
screw and
reverse
switch
-
shift
lever boot
-
two
mounting bolts and
gearshift lever assem
-
bly_
loosen
the
lock
nuts and remove the
tie-rods
from
the gearshift arm
,
linkage arm and lever
assembly_
Remo
... e
the
two
bolts
and
gearshift lever
cover.
