SUB-TRANSMISSION/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Remove the cotter pin and washer. Be sure to cen t er
the slide shaft of the spring guide slot when the
gear position is in neutral.
If it is not centered, loosen the lock nuts on the tie-
rod B and adjust the slide shaft position by turning
the tie-rod 8.
Install the washer and secure the slide shaft with a
new cotter pin.
Tighten all the tie-rod lock nuts.
TORQUE : 10 N'm (1.0 kgf·m , 7 Ibf.ft)
Install the following:
- front fender (page 2-11)
- left front mud guard (page 2-8)
