connectors for loose contacts or corroded termi-
nals, and recheck the OTe.

EPS ECU
system inspection
1. Erase the OTC with HOS or OLe
(page
25-11).
2. Start the engine.
3. Fully turn the handlebar to the left or right
and hold
it
10 seconds.
4. Check the EPS indicator.
Does the
EP$
indicator come on?
NO
- System is normal at th is time
YES
- GO TO STE

Motor Line Open Circuit Inspection
Remove the front fender (page 2-11).
Disconnect the EPS ECU 2P gray 8 connector.
Check for contin uity between the Black and Red
wi re harness side of the EPS ECU 2P gray B con-
nector.
