Install the face cam into
the differential
housing.
Install the
six cam
followers A
(rib) and six
cam
fol

lowers B (flat) into

e specified grooves in
the
housing
by
two and two
as
shown.
Install the face cam onto
the
cam followers.
Measure
the
depth
of the ring gear (page 17-22) and
the
height of
th
e
housing-la-cam
(page
17-23),
and
record
them.
Calculat
e the shim thickness using the equation
below.
The
correct
shi
m is nearly this dimension.
