Measure the voltage between the Red wire terminal
of 3P

connector and ground.
There
should be battery voltage at all
limes.
GROUND LINE
Check
the continuity
between
the Green wire
termi-
nal of 3P (Black) connector and ground.
There
should be continuity at all times.
CHARGING COil LINE
Measure the resistance between the Yellow wi re
terminals
of 3P
(GRAY) connector.

Check for continuity between each Yellow wire ler-

minal and ground.
There
should
be no
continuity.

Disconnect
the
regulator/rectifier 3P (Black)
connec-I~~~~~~
tor and 3P (Gray
) connector.
Remove
the regulator/rectifier
mounting boilS.
