Default
The free ARP function is disabled.
Guidelines
After the free ARP function is enabled by this command, the device sends free ARP
packets periodically to all layer-3 ports. If the device receives an ARP response, it
indicates that there is a duplicate IP address on the corresponding layer-3 port. In this
case, the layer3IpConflictTrap alarm is reported to the network management console to
notify the user of the IP address confliction.

4.17.12 clear arp

Purpose
This command deletes dynamic ARP entries in batches.
Command Mode
Layer-3 configuration mode
Syntax
clear arp
Guidelines
This command will delete all dynamic ARP entries of the switch. To delete the manually
added static ARP entries, run the arp delete command.

4.17.13 clear iproute

Purpose
This command deletes static route entries.
Command Mode
Layer-3 configuration mode
Syntax
clear iproute [{<A.B.C.D/M>|<A.B.C.D><A.B.C.D>}<A.B.C.D>]
