4.12.23 set stp instance port/trunk root-guard

Purpose
This command enables or disables the root-guard function of a port or trunks in an instance.

set stp instance <0-63>{port <1-52>| trunk <trunklist>} root-guard {enable | disable}

Guidelines
The root-guard function is generally used in the condition that a root switch requires to
be specified. When the port enabling root-guard receives a BPDU message with a higher
priority, the port will be blocked for network protection.

4.12.24 set stp instance port/trunk loop-guard

Purpose
This command enables or disables the loop-guard function of a port or trunks in an
instance.
Command Mode
Global configuration mode
Syntax
set stp instance <0-63>{port <1-52>| trunk <trunklist>} loop-guard {enable | disable}

Description
Instance ID.
Port number. Different devices have different port number ranges.
In the syntax, the 5250-52TC device is used as an example.
Trunk list.
Enables the root-guard function.
Disables the root-guard function.
