Guidelines
The forced monologue detection function is described as follows: After the UDLD protocol
detects a link problem and blocks the faulty port, a UDLD packet must be received within
the configured detection time if this port is recovered. If not, it is still considered that the port
is in failure status, and then further actions will be taken in accordance with configurations.
Default
The forced UDLD monologue detection function is disabled.

Purpose
This command sets the forced UDLD monologue detection period.

udld port <portlist> force-check timer <15-300>

Guidelines
The period starts when UDLD Recovery begins to restore the port. If no UDLD packet is
received before the timer expires, it is considered that the port is still in failure status.
Default
The forced UDLD monologue detection period is 30 seconds.
