Purpose
This command checks the current STP protocol type and selects the best protocol.

Guidelines
When the MSTP is interconnected with the early protocols such as RSTP, the pcheck
command must be implemented on the ports for the recognition of messages. When
the MSTP is interconnected with the RSTP, the RSTP is selected. When the RSTP is
interconnected with the STP, the STP is selected.
