PUMPING OF PETROLEUM PRODUCT DURING OPERATION
OF HYDROFICATED BOLSTER TRACTION TRUCK WITH A
TANK SEMITRAILER
1. Place the vehicle on a level and hard surface.
2. Apply the parking brake system to stop the
semi-trailer.
3. Use the chocks (block stops) to stop the vehicle.
4. Be sure the air system pressure is not lower than

490 kPa (5 kgf/cm
).
5. Switch on the power take-off (PTO) box.
For this purpose:
- depress the clutch pedal against stop;
- shift the gearshift lever to neutral;
-engage PTO box by means of the switch lo-
cated on the instrument panel. With this, PTO en-
gagement pilot lamp lights up
panel;
- release the clutch pedal smoothly.
The symbol «PTO1» is displayed in the first line
(in appearance the same as LED indicator of PTO en-
gagement
) and symbol «PTO2», if the vehicle is
equipped with two PTOs.
6. To pump over the petroleum product press
on the upper part of hydraulic motor switch located on
the instrument panel. LED built into switch comes
ON.

The message appears on the display (see Fig. The
hydraulic distribution valve is engaged).
7. After the petroleum products transfer is over,
press on the lower part of hydraulic motor shifter. LED
built into switch comes OFF.
8. Disengage the PTO box. For the purpose:
- depress the clutch pedal;
- disengage PTO box by means of the switch lo-
cated on the instrument panel. With this, PTO engage-
ment pilot lamp comes Off on the instrument panel;
- release the clutch pedal smoothly.
Attention!
In cold months it is recommended to switch the
PTO about 8-10 min before petroleum product transfer, it
allows to warm the oil up in hydraulic system.
With PTO box working, gear shifting is not ad-
missible.
On vehicles equipped with ZF gear boxes the
locking device is installed and the vehicle movement
with operating PTO box is impossible.
For the gearbox with automated control the PTO
continuous operation is not more than 60 min.
