CHECKING RECEIVERS FOR CONDENSATION

To maintain the required compressed air (from
compressor) pressure and to cool and extract the conden-
sate, a truck brake system is provided with adsorbent air
dryer united with pressure regulator.
Check for condensate in receiv-
ers daily, at the end of the shift. Open
the condensate drain cocks having
shifted the pusher aside (see Fig. The
pusher).
Attention!
Do not pull the rod down and do not push it up-
wards.
If any condensate in receivers:
- check the pressure regulator for normal opera-
tion (ON/ OFF). Compressed air pressure in the pneu-
matic drive is to be nominal (9,0-10,0 kgf/cm
- check the adsorbent air dryer, the oil separator
and the connection hoses for tightness. Even the slightest
leak is not permissible;
- if no deviations in pressure regulator, change the
filter element.
Be sure to use filter elements from manufactures
possessing official approval of KAMAZ PTC for delivery.
