EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICE CALLING UNIT
(ERA-GLONASS)

APPLICATION AND CONTROL DEVICES

Emergency response service calling unit is de-
signed for:
- transfer of minimum data set with description of
motor vehicle, coordinates of its location, time and
movement direction;
- call of emergency service operator via loud-
speaker by pressing the emergency button SOS at road
traffic incidents and other emergency situations.
Connection is carried out via mobile cellular network,
meeting GSM/ UMTS standards.
Coordinates of motor vehicle location are calculated
by using the signals of Global Navigation Satellite System
(GLONASS) or GLONASS together with GPS.
At failed attempt to transfer the data by tone mo-
dem the emergency response service calling device will
execute it by means of SMS mechanism.
The emergency response service calling device
consists of the following components:
‒ ERA-GLONASS BLOCK;
‒ two blocks of user interface, located on instru-
ment panel (see Fig. User's interface block);
‒ loudspeaker block is located in an overhead con-
sole or over the door from driver's side;
- GLONASS/GPS antenna is located under instru-
ment panel.

At night time when marker lights are engaged the
buttons of user's interface block are illuminated by
green.
Attention!
Emergency response service call unit ensure safe
operation at ambient temperature from minus 45 to plus
85 ºС.
The unit is to be used solely in emergency situa-
tions.
It is forbidden to use the emergency response ser-
vice call unit during the motion without extreme necessi-
ty.
Dismantling and repair of the emergency re-
sponse service call unit should be carried out only in the
service center.
On the vehicles equipped with the emergency re-
sponse service call unit the radio receiver should be
provided by «MUTE» function.
