CAB RAISING AND LOWERING

For raising and lowering the cab use (see Fig. To
control cab raising and lowering):
- cab hydraulic lift pump, placed on the right side
behind the cab.
- electric pump of the cab tilt mechanism (de-
pending on vehicle configuration).
Position of knobs for cab raising and lowering is
shown in a plate on a pump body (see Fig. Pump plate).
During operation, control the oil level in a hy-
draulic drive system. The oil level should be between
marks on a dipstick built into pump tank body.
Pump plate
Prior to raising the cab
1. Zone of cab tilting must be free.
2. Apply the vehicle parking brake.
3. Shift the gearshift lever to neutral.
4. Rotate the ignition switch key to position «0» -
all is OFF.
5. Move the steering column to the lower posi-
tion.
6. Disengage the additional heating (cab air heat-
er) or conditioner.
7. If you need to start engine after cab tilting, ro-
tate the ignition switch key to the «Position of Motion».
8. Secure or take all non-secured items out of cab.
Close all doors, boxes and sections in a cab. Close the
cab doors.
9. Place the chocks, prevent the vehicle rolling-
off.
10. Check if all tow yokes are removed.
11. Raise the front facing panel.
